Traditional Persian Area Rug, Red & Turquoise | Washable Heritage Design

Rug was beautiful and vibrant at 1st. It said it was appropriate for high traffic areas however after owning it for only 4 months, the entire border of the rug appears dull and faded because the fibers became all fuzzy just from walking on it. I didn't use a strong vacuum cleaner or even attempt to wash it yet. The center is still perfect because a table/island was placed in the center. Its so disappointing that it became like that after only 4 months

I like the rug, but like others have said there is a defect in the print. As you can see there are white lines running all the way down the runner. They are narrow and not that noticeable from a standing point unless you really look closely. I was a little disappointed but l'm keeping the rug as l have guests arriving today and do not have time to find anything else. The rug is nice but for that price l don't expect to see defects. I probably wouldn't order another one.

The thing that I dislike is the manner in which these rugs are shipped. I understand why they ship the rugs folded but they should be rolled. The fold leaves a crease which is still not resolved after several days on the floor.

It's perfect! High quality and vibrant colors as shown online. I bought a pad to go under it because I like the extra cushion, but it isnt necessary

Great rug! Colors are gorgeous. It’s thin so door will close. Backing keeps it from moving around. Have in bathroom so I don’t have to worry it’s retaining moisture. Washable!

This rug is amazing. The red one looks just like an antique oriental rug. I got the 5x7 one for a bit of a strange reason. My elderly dog is housebound, and I wanted somewhere waterproof he could pee on if need be that was washable. I still love it, but although its back is rubberized, it is non slip but not completely waterproof. Also the large size is way too big and heavy for the washing machine and will have to be washed outside with a hose. The smaller sizes should be fine in the machine. Those issues are particular to me though, and it is still a great looking rug for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Very happy with this purchase. Yes, the rug is thin. Another reviewer commented on the design, calling out the “squiggles”. She’s right, too. Think of it as a drawing on canvas: the squiggly technique is meant to give depth to the design, simulating pile and nap.The photo on Amazon makes the rug appear very orange. In person, it is more red. I love the colors! It gave my room much needed color.I haven’t washed it or vacuumed it yet, but I’ll update when I do.Update: I took the rug to the laundromat and put it in the largest machine. I won’t lie, this thing was HEAVY. I washed it with warm water and 3 pods. I was afraid the colors would fade. They didn’t. They are still vibrant. I draped the wet rug over a fence in my yard to dry, then put it back down.I still love it.

We love this rug! The colors are so rich and the design adds a lot of interest to the room. We had purchased a runner in the same pattern, and we’re just as happy with that.I can’t imagine washing this rug in a machine, I think it’s just too large, and I wouldn’t want to break the precious clothes washer. : DI bought a (better than usual) rug pad to protect the wood floor underneath the rug. It doesn’t make it feel more plush though, because this rug is sort of more like a cloth than a woven rug.

Design is beautiful. Colors are vibrant. The rug will fold up and move easily in the corners so you may trip if you’re not careful. Just watch out for that. Item shipped well and makes a lovely addition under my dining table. Great price on this as well. I would prefer it to be a little thicker so it doesn’t fold up all the time but it works and I have enjoyed the product. It feels durable and will likely last for a solid amount of time. Hides stains well.

This is a fabulous product, way nicer looking than I expected and the colors warm up the space. I placed miscellaneous books on it for three days, this flattened the rug quickly.

Very thin but pretty. Just doesn’t really stay put or do much cushioning

The colors are beautiful and vibrant. I was afraid it might look dark but it doesn't.I didn't give it 5 stars because it's not slip resistant. It is flat. It can be machine washed but not machine dried.All in, I'm very happy with it. It gives me the boho vibe with my other furnishings.

It isn't slip proof. Thought there would be more rubber on the back.

I like the rug

A beautiful rug! It's folded instead of rolled so it takes time for the creases to smooth out. I've had the rug for about 3 weeks now & it's still not completely smooth so it takes time to flatten out. Other than that it's great & I'm happy I got it.

Vibrant colors but too thin.

This is for the 8x10 size. The rug is very nice and quite thin so it can be washed. It is not quite the regular 8x10 size. It did not cover the entire space of the old rug we replaced it with..

Super nice rug fir purpose intended. I keep it at the patio door to catch outdoor debris as we come and go outside.

It is thin. I ordered a 1 qtr inch non skid pad and it work good.

The colors are beautiful, but you can see through to the bottom weave in areas. I’m disappointed it wasn’t better made.

Very nice looking rug. Only thing I would say is that if you are looking for something heavier that will dampen sound, this is not it. It is pretty thin. Overall happy with it.
